App Tester - Couples App (Remote, Couples Only)

The Role
We're hiring couples to test Attune (helloattune.app), a relationship check-in app, before launch. To be clear about what it is: Attune is a wholesome, everyday wellbeing app. It gives you and your partner gentle prompts to check in with each other, share how your day went, note what you appreciate, and keep track of the small things. There is no dating, no matching, and nothing explicit or adult about it. Think of it as a shared journal and conversation starter for two people who are already together.
You and your partner will use Attune together in your everyday life over a testing period of 14 days to one month, then tell us honestly what worked, what felt awkward, and what broke. We're taking on 3 couples on iOS and 3 couples on Android. Both partners must apply together and both are paid. This is a hands-on role with real influence: the feedback you give directly shapes what we ship.
What you'll do
- Use Attune with your partner as part of your normal routine for 14 days to one month
- Both partners install and test on the same platform, either iOS or Android
- Complete short structured tasks and feedback surveys we send you each week
- Report bugs, crashes, and confusing screens with enough detail for us to reproduce them
- Tell us candidly when a feature feels uncomfortable, intrusive, or unnecessary
- Join one short video call with the product team at the end of the testing period
- Keep the app, its features, and anything you see confidential until public launch
What we're looking for
- A couple applying together; both partners must take part and both are paid
- Both partners on the same platform, either iOS or Android, on a reasonably recent device
- Willingness to do the daily check-ins regularly and honestly for the full testing period
- Clear written feedback and the confidence to say when something is bad
- Comfort installing a pre-release build via TestFlight (iOS) or Google Play testing (Android)
- Good written and spoken English
- No prior testing experience needed; we want real users, not professional testers
What we offer
- $5 per person, per hour, which is $10 per couple, per hour
- Both partners are paid separately for their own hours
- A testing period of 14 days to one month, with flexible hours that fit your routine
- Fully remote; test from home on your own devices
- Early access to Attune and a direct say in what we build before launch
- 6 places available: 3 couples on iOS and 3 couples on Android
Location
Fully remote. You and your partner can take part from anywhere, testing on your own devices at times that suit you. One short video call is scheduled between 09:00 and 17:00 UTC+2 at the end of the testing period.
Your privacy
Attune records nothing about your relationship or your use of it: no check-in answers, no content, no usage tracking. We only collect the details needed to contact and pay you, and the feedback you choose to give us. You can withdraw at any time and still be paid for the hours you worked. Apply as a couple in one email. Tell us both your names, your platform (iOS or Android) and device models, roughly how long you've been together, why you'd like to test a couples app, and your availability over the next month. Confirm that both partners agree to take part.
